Declaration For the Year

Calvary Temple Christian Church (CTCC) is a family set up by God in Christ to be a model church, chosen to be a blessing to the nations of the world.

On my part, I will demonstrate this by:

What I say:  – speaking only blessings and only the truth,

How I live:  – Living to please Christ,

The way I love:  – Loving in purity and

Practicing true faith:  – Making Christ the focus in all things.

All these I will do through Christ who strengthens me.

“… but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.   1Timothy 4:12

MEN’S MOVEMENT DELEGATES MEET AT FAFRAHA

MEN’S MOVEMENT DELEGATES MEET AT FAFRAHA
This year’s national men’s Movement delegate conference has been held at Frafraha on the theme, “How Close We Are in Achieving Vision 2015”. This is to make delegates take a critical look and reflect on how far the church has gone in achieving vision 2015 and the various roles played individually and collectively as a church. This was the 13th Delegate Conference held.

Apostle Alex Ofosu, welcomed delegates to the conference on behalf of the National Management of the Church. He believed that the conference will enable them share fellowship, receive knowledge, enlightenment and also help delegates to get to know one another. Speaking on the theme, he said the delegate’s conference has been playing wonderful roles in the lives of the men in the church. The vision brings them together for spiritual renewal. When Apostle Abebrese assumed office, God gave him that vision 2015.

A closer walk with God, deepening our Apostolic Identity, Practical evangelism, discipleship and church growth, Sacrificial covenant giving, Human Resource empowerment and infrastructural development and improvement ,

He urged them to think outside the box in order to move the movement to another level. He admitted that their number cannot outwit the women population in the church, but they could do better.

The main speaker for the conference was Apostle Jonas Philip Offei. He mentioned the need for them to take a close look at the vision 2015. It was the vision of the leadership of the church to have a closer walk with God. To do that, they have to learn to be obedient to his word. If the Lord decides to do something, he does it and hence, there is the need for them to walk closer with God.

Dr. Otchere Sheriff of Amen Scientific Herbal Clinic, and his team delivered a talk on health   and also conducted medical screening for the delegates. He talked about the need for them to take good care of their health because most of the sicknesses and diseases are derived from lifestyles.   They were taken through physical exercises as well.

There was an open session for delegates to make inputs for the development of the church.

Elder Joseph Hama and Elder Christian Obeng, the immediate past National Leader and National Secretary officially handed over to the new leadership of the Men’s Movement. Elder Desmond Tetteh Sackey took the mantle as the National Leader while Elder Divine Kanyagui took over as National Men’s Secretary.

The out-gone executives in their handing over note recounted some of the achievements and challenges they gained and faced. They encouraged the executives to work hard in order to build on from where they left off so they can take the movement to another pedestal.

Elder Joseph Hama served as the Leader for seven (7) years while Elder Christian Obeng also served for four (4) years.   These out-gone leaders were also commended for their meritorious service in bringing the men’s movement to its current pedestal.

Speaking on the theme, “How Close We Are In Achieving Vision 2015” the President, Rev. Dr. Yaa outlined the various contents of Vision 2015; not leaving out the remarkable progress made so far. He was thankful to all and sundry for helping in achieving the success of the Vision 2015. Although he mentioned the fact that there has been some challenges and setbacks along the line but the Lord who begun the good work in the Church will bring it to great accomplishment in His own time.

He also commended the National Men’s Movement and its leaders for their tremendous strive in bringing the movement to its current pedestal
